Sustainability
The modern, global, human society has a massive impact on the natural environment. This is not a new problem; many past societies have also greatly degraded their surrounding environment which supported them, ultimately leading to societal collapse. But this does not have to be our destiny; there are also many past societies that understood the consequences of their actions on the environment and acted in harmony with it. The transition to a sustainable society will be difficult, but also presents an enormous opportunity for enterprising individuals.

- Searching for a Global Environmental Kuznet's Curve: A statistical examination of the proposed Environmental Kuznet's Curve, which claims that the relationship between environmental degradation and economic status has an inverted U-shape.
- An Investigation Lead Pollution in Guiyu, China: Guiyu, China, is one of the most polluted locations in the world as a result of an informal e-waste recycling system fueled by consumerism and lax e-waste regulations.
- Wellesley Will Campaign: A grassroots campaign to make Wellesley, MA, a leader in sustainability.
