Olin Robotic Sailing Team
A cross-disciplinary team of engineering students at Olin is working on a fully autonomous sailboat. Our long-term goal is to complete an autonomous crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, a feat which has yet to be accomplished! Check out the team website for more information.
As a stepping stone towards this goal, we are participating in the International Robotic Sailing Competition (IRSC). Last year, the Olin team in its founding year placed 2nd in the IRSC, and will be hosting the competition this year in Gloucester, MA. Check out the competition website for more information.
I am presently the software team lead and chief architect for the Olin Robotic Sailing Team.
As software team lead, I am responsible for prioritizing programming sub-team efforts and assisting my developers in the creation of high-quality, robust code. I am also in charge of high-level system design and interfacing along with the other sub-team officers.
